Notice on Extending the Unilateral Visa-free Policy In order to continue to facilitate personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, China has decided to extend the unilateral visa-free policy to France and other countries (list below) until 24:00 on December 31, 2026. In addition, China will grant visa-free access to Sweden from November 10, 2025 to December 31, 2026. Ordinary passport holders from the above-mentioned countries who come to China for business, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits and transit for no more than 30 days may enter the country without visas. Those who do not meet the visa-free conditions still need to apply for a visa to China before entering the country.
